Our official GA hosts, Yari and Yman, kept everyone engaged—that is, roaring with laughter—as they worked the November GA to a crescendo of fun news specific to a BPO company Philippines has been housing for four years.
Upcoming events, fresh plans for 2013, a brief Q&A, inspiring words from our COO, acknowledgments, announcement of winners, and giving of prizes—these ran the course of Taking You Forward, Inc.’s last General Assembly for 2012.
The first of the announcements was a bit of a recap, announcing the winners of TYF, Inc.’s DOTA Tournament, which took place last October 6–7. The winning team (Joie, Elnar Jun, Dutch, Jonie, and Ralph) received Php 1,450 and each of them received a mug.
Next on the agenda was the announcement of the official venue for our Christmas Party. On December 22, TYF, Inc. will be turning The Orchard Cebu into one glam rock stadium. It was also mentioned that our managers will have a surprise presentation for everyone; this will surely be one good break for our higher-ups from strictly doing the usual functions of BPO companies.
It was then announced that starting January, everyone will get one free meal a day. This gained much cheer and applause from everyone. Along with this plan are the following: the provision of free rice for regular employees, sleeping quarters, and larger seating capacity.
The company will also implement a more defined program to continue the provision of professional growth in the company, that is, performance improvement plans, molding TYF, Inc.’s workforce to handle supervisory and managerial tasks.
With all these news and being informed as well about the status of the industry of business process outsourcing Philippines greatly capitalizes on, more good things are indeed coming our way.
On top of learning about our company’s 2013 plans, everyone was anticipating one more announcement: the winners of our Halloween event. View our nominees and winners here.
The company’s Employee Engagement Group (EEG) has been the driving force behind TYF, Inc.’s fun activities. EEG even has more in store for everyone as the Christmas Party approaches and much more when 2013 comes.
Our last GA for 2012 could not have had a better closing. With everyone informed ahead of time to wear red or green for the November General Assembly, we gathered and made our company’s “Christmas greeting” video.
